Several categories of membership are available and the membership process is overseen by the club committee. 

Under the rules, the APLTC is limited to 360 senior members and a maximum of 100 junior members, aged 8-17.

We have a waiting list for both seniors (4-5 years) and juniors (3-4 years) but have been able to offer memberships annually for the past couple of years.

Please note you can only apply directly through this site or via email for the senior playing membership and the junior membership. For the other categories (see below), the initial query should be directed to APLTC President Peter Davidson on 0409 935 936 during business hours.

The membership categories:

1. Senior playing members.
Voting and playing rights.

2. Junior members
Aged 8 to 17. No voting rights.

3.  Pensioner members
Full membership rights.

4. Social members
No voting or playing rights. Usually members who cannot play any longer but want to remain part of the club but new social members are welcome.

5. Absentee members
Usually members who are overseas or unwell. No voting or playing rights.

6. Temporary members
For temporary residents of Australia.  Full fees apply. No voting rights. Maximum period of membership is 2 years.

7. Life members
Elected by a majority vote at the AGM for special service to the club. Limit of seven.  No fees. 


Senior joining fee: $250 (No joining fee for junior, social, temporary or pensioner members).

Senior playing member annual subscription: $150.

Junior member annual subscription: $60.

Social member annual subscription: $60.

Absentee member annual subscription: $70.

Temporary member: $150.

Pensioner: $50.


Fee notices will be sent out on July 1st and are due for payment by July 31st. If no payment is made by then, members will be contacted and if payment is not made by August 31st membership will cease. 

Application for Membership

Application fee (non-refundable) is $50 per senior. There is no application fee for juniors. Please complete the application form and email it through. Also, make payment via eft to the bank details provided. If your form is not received, we'll have nothing to record the payment against and your application will not be accepted. Upon receipt of your application and payment, confirmation will be forwarded. To ensure your membership has been received, please email us and advise.
